Upgrading:How it works

How do i upgrade items? Upgrading items allows you to boost most, if not all, of the stats the item currently possesses. Any item that can be upgraded will display an 'Enhancements' entry in its tooltip, such as 'Enhancements: 0/8.' The first number represents how many enhancements have been applied, while the second number shows the maximum number of possible enhancements for that item.

Any item that contains 'Enhancements' in the tooltip can be upgraded. To begin upgrading, follow these steps:

Each enhancement increases the item's stats, and the upgrade process can continue up to the maximum number of enhancements shown in the item's tooltip (e.g., 'Enhancements: 0/8').

Enhancer Slot: This slot auto-populates with the specific enhancer item required for the upgrade. If you don't have the required enhancer, it will still show you what is needed.

Item Slot: This slot displays the item you're upgrading. Hovering over it will generate its tooltip, allowing you to compare its stats with the upgraded version in the 'Result' slot.

Result Slot: This slot shows the upgraded version of your item. Hovering over it will display the item's new stats. Below this, you'll see the Chance to Succeed for the upgrade.

Success Chance When upgrading an item, the chance of success decreases as the enhancement level increases:

The chance to succeed decreases by 10% with each successful enhancement until it reaches a minimum of 10% after 10 upgrades.

What happens if i fail the enhancement? When you fail an enhancement, there is a high chance that a random number of the required upgrade items will be consumed. This means you might lose some of the materials needed for the enhancement process.

For items with 9 or more enhancements, the chance of success becomes significantly lower, and the risk of failure is at its highest. As the enhancement level rises, the likelihood of consuming more upgrade items upon failure also rises, so prepare accordingly!
