**Dodge Skill** **What is the dodge skill?** 'Dodge' (dlvl) is a skill used to determine the level of creatures you can successfully avoid an attack from. The difference between your dlvl and the creature's level dictates your chances of being hit. If your dlvl matches the creature’s level, you'll rarely be hit—though there’s always a 5% minimum chance for all creatures to land an attack. Similarly, no matter how much higher your dlvl is, there's a maximum 95% chance to dodge, ensuring all creatures have a 'lucky' chance to hit and all players have a 'lucky' chance to dodge. Example: *Creature lvl 100, Player dlvl 100 *Result: 95% chance to dodge enemy attacks *Creature lvl 105, player dlvl 100 *Result: 50% chance to dodge enemy attacks *Creature lvl 110, player dlvl 100 *Result: 5% chance to dodge enemy attacks **How do I level up my dodge skill?** Leveling up your dodge skill is simple! Each time you're hit by an enemy with a level higher than your dodge level (dlvl), you gain experience equal to the difference in levels. However, don't think you can gain easy levels by facing off against a level 10,000 enemy—the maximum level difference that awards experience is capped at 10. Anything beyond a 10-level difference won't grant you any experience. To maximize dodge skill leveling, aim to fight enemies that are exactly 10 levels above your dlvl. The more enemies around you, the more experience you can gain from their hits! Example: *Creature lvl 100, Player dlvl 100 *Result: No experience gained, as the enemy is not higher than your dlvl. *Creature lvl 105, player dlvl 100 *Result: 5 exp received per hit. *Creature lvl 110, Player dlvl 100 *Result: 10 exp received per hit. *Creature lvl 111 or greater, player dlvl 100 *Result: No experience gained, as the enemy exceeds the 10-level difference cap. **Can I get more than 10 exp (per hit) max?** The current hard-coded limit is 10 experience per hit, but this will change in future updates. Eventually, this limit will become a 'stat' with a default max of 10. Players who complete their 'Rite of Passage' at specific character level milestones will receive various rewards, including an increased max dlvl experience limit. Once it becomes a stat, even rare equipment will offer bonuses to increase this limit. So, while the official answer is 'No' for now, future updates will make this possible! **Tips** *Using Red Dust against enemies will slow their attack speed, which can reduce the overall experience gained due to fewer hits received. *White Dust applies a 'Blind' debuff to your target, and you'll still gain experience per hit, even if the attack misses because of the blind effect! *Equipping any Din Blinding Staff will cast an Area of Effect (AoE) blind debuff to all enemies around your target. This is a great strategy for maximizing experience gains!
