**Earthkeys Explained** **What are Earthkeys?** An Earthkey is a player-crafted item using the skill Geomancy, allowing players to create custom dungeons. Earthkeys can result in various outcomes depending on the Modifiers applied during their creation, offering unique experiences for each dungeon. Once crafted, right-clicking the Earthkey summons a portal on your location, instantly teleporting you to your custom dungeon. The Earthkey itself is not consumed when summoning the portal. Any nearby players can also enter the portal and will be teleported to the same dungeon. The portal remains active for 30 seconds before self-destructing. Once you've teleported to your dungeon, you'll find yourself inside a small cave-like room or a similarly enclosed area. Any players who entered your portal will also appear in this initial chamber. In front of you, a flat wall will be visible with a Runestone embedded in its center. This Runestone serves as the key to unlocking the rest of the dungeon. Hovering your mouse over the Runestone will cause it to highlight. By right-clicking the Runestone, the Dungeon Generator window will appear. Drag and drop any Earthkey into this window to populate it with the details of that specific Earthkey, revealing the modifiers and settings tied to your custom dungeon. Once you're certain this is the Earthkey you want to activate, simply click the 'Activate' button. The dungeon wall will disappear, and the maze will dynamically rebuild itself. Any Modifiers you’ve applied will also activate immediately, whether they modify the maze layout or provide world buffs. Keep in mind that any player in your dungeon can activate an Earthkey, but only one Earthkey can be activated per instance.
